Northern Plains style tecked belt

This is a classic belt from Upper Missouri Region.
This type of belt was immensely popular by the 1830's with the Assiniboine, Plains Cree, Gros Ventres, Northern Sioux and Blackfeet/Blackfoot tribes.

The tacks have a solid-bress heads with a round steel shank.
