THIS IS A CLASSIC BELTS FROM THE UPPER MISSOURI. BELTS WAS IMMENSELY POPULAR BY THE 1830'S WITH THE ASSINIBOINE, PLAINS CREE, GROS VENTRES, NORTHERN SIOUX AND BLACKFEET TRIBES. THE TACKS HAVE A SOLID-BRASS HEAD WITH A ROUND STEEL SHANK.

ON THE LAST PHOTO THEY ARE SOME KNIFE SHEATH ARE DECORATED WITH BRASS TACKS, TOO.
